Feel the Earth Shake

"Two earth quakes and a kajillion after shocks in 2 days and i didn't feel a damn thing. I guess i should consider myself lucky, but dammit, I could have at least felt a little bitty rumble." blog post started by me on January 8, 2010. I got busy doing something else and logged off. I am going to say that I am ashamed of myself for whining over choosing to leave things behind when we moved....I have the ability to get new things, and I brought what was important with me, family photos, mementos, antiques, my favorite clothing, gifts from my husband that I would never part with, even the clothes that I burned in.....and my husband and children. Mommy Meltdown

So, last Friday my 9 week old Princess Baby came down with a cold. I swear to bejesus that she picked it up at Walmart. I can tell you the exact moment in Tuesday we walked by a man chewing on a cough drop. I remember saying to my husband, "hold your breath, that dude is sick!" As I threw the blanket over the baby's head and hurried away. Friday comes and she is so congested! I called her doc and since she bad no fever or green snot and she was eating like a horse they said not to bring her in. The next thing I know, it is Sunday and her Daddy says "uhoh I'm getting her cold!" I told him he is full of shit, you can't catch a cold from a baby!!!! Ummmmm....I was wrong. Yes I said it. I will even repeat it. I was wrong. The little shit has infected my whole house, except for me. SEP. 28, 2018 President Signs Bill Providing $14 Million for Lupus Research President Donald J. Trump signed into law today a fiscal 2019 spending package that includes more than $14 million in new funding specifically for lupus research and education. The House of Representatives and Senate already approved the spending bill, which also provides a significant funding boost to a record $39.1 billion for biomedical research through the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
