Trump Passes law That Includes Over $14 Million for Lupus Research!

President Signs Bill Providing $14 Million for Lupus Research


President Donald J. Trump signed into law today a fiscal 2019 spending package that includes more than $14 million in new funding specifically for lupus research and education. The House of Representatives and Senate already approved the spending bill, which also provides a significant funding boost to a record $39.1 billion for biomedical research through the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The spending package combines the Fiscal Year 2019 Department of Defense (DoD) Appropriations bill with the Fiscal Year 2019 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (LHHS) Appropriations bill. This funding victory would not have been possible without the efforts of our lupus advocates from across the country, the Congressional Lupus Caucus Co-Chairs (Rep. Thomas J. Rooney [R-FL], Rep. William Keating [D-MA], Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen [R-FL], Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson [D-TX]), House Appropriations Committee Chair Rodney Frelinghuysen [R-NJ] and Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Richard Shelby [R-AL] who championed the funding for these critical programs.

Damn. I woke up one morning, and I wasn't a kid anymore. Funny thing is, I knew I was married and had 2 kids. Sweat Drips Down My....

Kids can be source of amusement. You can be a friend and be a parent. You can have boundaries, let them have fun, and be "inappropriate' and cut up sometimes...well I can. You can do whatever you want with yours. Mine like me and i like that. They also know how to act when it's important. My little boy has a thing about saying BALLS. Good Morning Stepford!

I like the town that we moved to. It's GREAT. Not too big, not too small. It has just about everything you could ask for cept a super Walmart. THAT is a story for another day. I threw a Princess sized hissy fit about that, let me tell you! So, we live in this little "commune" (not really a commune, but I like to call it that) of town homes. Some of them are in 3's and 4's. Some are only duplexes. They all look alike! It's a pretty snazzy little place, there are only about 100 houses in here, and it's very private with a pool and video surveillance. The unit itself is huge, but the yard can be mowed by turning in a circle with the weed eater running, i shit you not! We even have these guys who come by at 6 am with leaf blowers and clean up the street. Oh I just LOVE them! haha Waking the Princess up at 6 am.....yeah right. If i only had a rottweiler!
